There’s something about this scene that kills me every time… The way Antonin reproaches Hubert for his childish behaviour and egotism, and how he clearly states that he doesn’t agree with his plans but just helps him anyway, relunctantly of course, but he does. And why? You find the answer when Anton says “I love you”, out of the blue, and you just know that he would do anything for him, because he’s completely different from Hubert; he will go against his own believes just to make him happy. The contrast between them is incredibly sharp, yet delicate and sutile, absolutely perfect.
